  I moved into my apartment here Dec. 2016 and I LOVE living here! Cindie, the property manager is so friendly and really goes above and beyond for her residents. And Aarne, the maintenance guy, is equally amazing. He works so hard to keep the property and the apartments looking nice. I've lived in 5 different places in the Lansing area and Okemos Station is by far the best. The property is smaller (there's only like 100 units), but there's so much grass for our dog and cat to enjoy. It's never loud and all of the residents are SO friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for an apartment.

  The application process and moving in was the worst experience of my life. The office staff was super disorganized (especially the leasing manager!) and had many things messed up in regards to my rental amount, move in dates, the right apartment etc. I am not someone who easily gets upset, but they had me so flustered and if it weren't for the fact that there aren't too many decent apartments in this area that were available when I needed to move, I likely wouldn't have even signed the lease and would have gone elsewhere. I also find it weird that they have "rental price of the day". So basically, the apartments prices change based on the day and whatever day you apply determines how much rent you will be paying. This is ridiculous to me. Why not just have them all the same price based off bedroom and layout like every other place? For the previous paragraph, this is why I gave them 4 stars and not 5.
  My apartment is cute, and decent size for the price. Appliances are a bit old and the "hardwood" floors in the dining room/kitchen is laminate so it looks a bit cheap, but overall it's a very cute and welcoming apartment. I always get compliments when people come over and they're always shocked at what I pay for rent.
  For the most part, the neighbors are really friendly and everyone is respectful of keeping the noise down past a certain time. The only thing, is that there isn't a lot of parking. Spots are usually filled up and I end up having to park on the other side of the complex. This is just a minor annoyance though and nothing too bad.
  Also, I would like to give a HUGE shoutout to the maintenance guy. By this point in my life, I had just given up on maintenance people and assumed that as long as I'd be renting, I would just be unhappy with the maintenance staff. However, he is always on top of things!! He's super friendly and you can tell he really values his work. Things aren't just slapped together and the complex always looks really good (I'm also fairly certain he's the only maintenance person?).
